Cookie Policy

Last updated August 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Relay Station also uses browser local storage, which works in a similar way and is covered by this policy.

2. Strictly necessary

Authentication: your sign-in session is stored by our authentication provider so you stay signed in between visits and page loads.

Security: short-lived tokens used to verify requests and protect your account.

Consent: your cookie choice itself is stored so we don't ask again on every visit.

These are always on. Without them you cannot sign in, submit a track, or run a host queue.

3. Functional (optional)

Interface preferences such as queue filters, sort order and dismissed prompts, so the station looks the same when you return.

These are only stored if you press Accept in the cookie banner.

4. Analytics and advertising

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data to third parties.

If anonymous usage analytics are introduced later, they will run only after you accept, and this policy will be updated first.

5. Third parties

Our hosting, database and authentication providers set the strictly necessary cookies described above on our behalf.

Payments are made directly between artist and host on PayPal, Cash App or Stripe. Once you follow a payment link, that provider's own cookie policy applies.

6. Managing your choice

You can accept or decline optional cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time using the button below.

You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings — doing so signs you out and resets your preferences.
